The Holy Cross Student Theater (HCST) delighted audiences this spring with its production of Forbidden Broadway: Greatest Hits, featuring book and lyrics by Gerard Alessandrini. The performances were held on Friday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m., and on Saturday, March 29 at 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. HCST once again demonstrated its creativity, talent, and passion for the performing arts, leaving theatergoers smiling long after the curtain closed.

Presented with special permission from Theatrical Rights Worldwide, the production was directed by Sean Lewis, who guided the talented student cast through this fast-paced, comedic celebration of Broadway.

A long-running Off-Broadway hit, Forbidden Broadway: Greatest Hits is a musical revue that lovingly parodies some of Broadway’s most iconic shows, stars, and songwriters. With sharp wit and clever lyrics, the show captures the spirit of musical theater while poking fun at its larger-than-life personalities and productions.
