Thank you for your interest in our Crusader family. Since 1968, Holy Cross has been a place where students take part in a journey of self-discovery, learning, building lasting friendships and engaging in transformational experiences. What makes us different is our belief that hearts and minds should be educated as one. This is the cornerstone of a Holy Cross education, one that is rooted in Catholic values.
Holy Cross students are exposed to a diverse set of curricular and co-curricular opportunities. Our educational process is known for rigor, attention to the individual and a celebration of the diversity of our student body. Really, we are committed to excellence in and outside the classroom and making sure to help students see the interconnectedness between experiences. This is the formation of heart and mind, and something that will benefit students long after the years at Holy Cross are completed.
We have a commitment to the four pillars of a Holy Cross education: Being Family, Building Respect, Bringing Hope and Educating Hearts and Minds. You will frequently hear families and alumni say that the truly special aspect of Holy Cross is that first pillar - being a family. Being a welcoming community is a hallmark of Holy Cross education, and so perfectly in the spirit of St. Brother Andre Bessette, CSC, the first Canonized member of the Congregation of Holy Cross. We see the unique, God-given beauty in each student entering our doors.
Throughout this website and in so many of our publications, you will see the Cross and Anchors. This is the symbol of the Congregation of Holy Cross. I believe the Cross and Anchors capture perfectly the Mission of our school: The Cross speaks to the challenges of life and the dynamic of renewal, of growth and of transformation. The Anchors, which represent Hope, remind us that the human experience, with all of its highs and lows, is a relational experience. And it is one that is always anchored in hope. We bring hope to each, and educate students to bring hope to a world so desperately in need of it. This is our Holy Cross tradition.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our Website. I hope you also have a chance to visit our school in person. It would be my pleasure to welcome you to the school, and show you why it is such a special, such a hope-filled place.
Welcome and Go Crusaders!
