“Mr. Lewis challenges me to do so many different things. He puts me to the test because he knows I can do it. I’ve been playing piano for two years and producing music for four.”
- Logan Renzoni ‘25
Students will explore and push the limits of what they can do in our Music Department. They can develop their skills in vocals, instrumentals, composition and digital music. Classes are offered in choir, band, piano, Music Theory and Composition, ECE Music History and Appreciation, ECE Pop Music and Diversity. There are also numerous performance opportunities throughout the year including two concerts, onsite and offsite masses and state & regional festivals.
In recent years, music department students participated in workshops and performances at Walt Disney World (Disney Sings Performing Arts Workshops) and Universal Orlando (Universal’s Art of Foley). In addition to performing at Disney Springs and Universal City Walk, they took part in workshops that helped them grow as performers. Students stepped into a real world setting on a soundstage. They learned and executed a piece of music in a short amount of time.
