2023-2024 Summa Scholars Honored

The Office of Catholic Schools honored the Superintendent’s Summa Scholars from the network of Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of Hartford. Six Holy Cross High School students were honored at an Awards Ceremony including: Catherine Balatbat, Abigail Cummings, Celine Assahoua, Michael Gauthier, Jennifer Fernandes and Lily Vescera.
The Superintendent’s Summa Scholar Awards are a prestigious honor bestowed upon students, parents, and teachers who have demonstrated unwavering dedication to academic excellence. Reserved for the top 5% of the graduating class, the Summa Scholar is a beacon of outstanding achievement, their high academic prowess maintained consistently from freshman year through the first semester of senior year, as evidenced by an exceptional cumulative grade point average.
