Dressing Down for a Great Cause
November 3rd, 2023
Our Crusaders showed their solidarity with breast cancer awareness month by dressing down in pink. It was a powerful way to support the cause and raise awareness among the community. To further their efforts, the Crusade for a Cure team organized a range of events that promoted awareness and collected funds for Cancer Research. The Pink Out Dress Down Day, Pink Out Games, and Bake Sales were met with great success, attracting participation from students, faculty, and community members alike.
One of the highlights of our campaign was the halftime ceremony at the Pink Out football game, where we paid tribute to those in our community who have battled and overcome cancer, as well as those we have lost. It was a touching moment that reminded us of the significance of our cause and the importance of supporting those affected by cancer.

While we celebrate the successes of our past events, our efforts in the fight against cancer are ongoing. We invite everyone to join our Crusade for a Cure team and contribute to our cause. We are currently gearing up for the Greater Waterbury Relay for Life, which will take place on June 8, 2024, at Holy Cross. Whether you choose to join us or make a donation, every little contribution can make a difference in the lives of those facing this disease. Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those affected by cancer.
