As part of our Founders Week series, we welcome back to Holy Cross High School teacher, coach, friend and mentor to so many, Br. John Paige, C.S.C.  Br. John will share memories of his time at Holy Cross and his reflections on the school’s educational mission both then and now.  We welcome the audience to share their stories.  

Br. John Paige C.S.C., a native of Albany, New York, has served the Holy Cross Congregation in secondary education as a teacher, coach, and administrator.  He was a member of the faculty at Holy Cross High School in Waterbury CT from its opening in 1968 through 1972.   He went on to serve as the principal of Notre Dame High School in West Haven CT.  In higher education he worked in East Africa and the USA as a professor and Dean. Br. John, former president of Holy Cross College at Notre Dame, Indiana, holds a Ph.D. in Education Policy and Leadership from the University of Maryland at College Park. At King's, Br. John serves as an academic advisor, assists with special projects in the Education Department and works with Institutional Advancement in cultivating benefactors. In 2019, Br. John was inducted into the Holy Cross High School Crusader Hall of Fame. He resides with the local Holy Cross Community of Kings College at Moreau Court.
