Academics

Teresa Akers is a member of the Science Department at Holy Cross High School and teaches the vast majority of freshmen biology. Ms. Akers has a Master of Science degree from Quinnipiac University in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, a Bachelor of Science degree from Quinnipiac University in Physical Therapy, a Master of Arts degree in French from Middlebury College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilmington College of Ohio in French and Literature with a minor in Psychology.  Ms. Akers values learning, enjoys the process of learning, and has been and will continue to be a life-long learner. 

True to form, her hobbies include woodworking, sewing, photography and videography, travel, hiking, camping, and being in nature.
